Arraignments of "in-custody" defendants who are arrested and held by the police take place every day of the year at the Queens County Criminal Court. On the south-side of the building, you will find the basement. The court usually opens at 9:30 am. Arraignments of defendants given Desk Appearance Tickets (DAT's) take place on Monday through Friday in the scheduled arraignment courtroom on the first floor.
